Tax Regulations for Lunch
A lunch time discussing tax regulations may not seem the ideal event, however when the venue is the Baresca in Nottingham’s city centre, feelings may change.
Qdos Vantage sponsored the lunch which brought together a group of tax specialists from across the East Midlands. The event was organised to discuss the latest tax regulations and the way in which technology is changing at great speed. For instance now that HMRC have invested heavily in tackling tax evasion, via digital tools, they are becoming far more effective regarding compliance activity. Consequently discussions took place to explore how third party firms can work with accountants to help businesses especially within the East Midlands region.
Attending the lunch were Brendan Dawson, Vee Babla, Steve Wade and Carol Dawson from Qdos, along with; James Pinchbeck, marketing partner, Streets Accountants; Kevin Edwards, tax partner, RSM; Praveen Gupta, tax partner, Baldwins; and Nick Bonnello, director, RWB Chartered Accountants.
